KETO AVOCADO BROWNIE
The keto diet, like all diets, bases its effectiveness on the suppression of some
foods. In its particular case, carbohydrates, but certainly, when you’re new with a
diet like this, you think: I will not be able to taste a dessert in weeks, Oh no! But it
is absolutely wrong, with a little time you can manage to learn how to make some
desserts worthy of any ketogenic diet.
In many cases, we can get versions of our favorite desserts, replacing some ingredients
rich in carbohydrates with keto ingredients. For almost all cakes or breads I usually use
almond flour which is really much better in some cases than the traditional flour, it provides
a great flavor and a very rich texture.
Today I prepared the best version of brownies, if you love chocolate, you must make it. It has no
waste (everyone loved them), and if you follow the steps to the letter you will enjoy a delicious
dessert. It is very simple and quick to prepare, the result is a brownie with a creamy fudgy
consistency inside and crispy on the outside, don’t hesitate for a minute.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C / 350 ° F; prepare a baking dish, preferably square,
made of silicone of about 25 cm /10-inch side, cover only with butter.
Sift the almond flour with the baking powder, in another bowl sift the cocoa powder.
This step is optional, if you want a fluffier texture. In particular, I like to feel the small
pieces of almonds in the brownie and omitted this step.
Then mix the wet ingredients: butter, eggs, avocado and Xylitol, this can be done in the
blender or directly with the blender. If you do it in the blender it is a bit faster.
Pour the avocado mixture into the mixing bowl and gradually add the
grated chocolate, then add the cocoa powder and finally, the almond flour.
Finally, when the mixture is completely homogeneous, add the nutmeg powder.
Fold in the chopped nuts.
Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for about 25 minutes at 180 ° C / 350 ° F.
Cut into three equal parts transversely and then again in three in the reverse
direction. You get 9 brownie servings.
