How to make keto gingerbread cookies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour
Swerve brown sugar substitute
ground ginger
nutmeg, ground cloves. Stir until completely combined.
Add the vanilla extract
egg and softened butter to the dry ingredients, and blend on high until a thick dough is formed.
Place the dough into the freezer to set for 30 minutes.
Lay out a sheet of parchment paper and place the dough it.
Place another piece of parchment paper on top of the dough, and roll the dough out to about ¼ of an inch thick.
Use a gingerbread man cookie cutter to cut out the gingerbread men / women shapes.
Bake the gingerbread men cookies for 10-15 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Allow the cookies to cool completely.
Mix the icing ingredients together
in a mixing bowl
and transfer to a piping bag
Decorate your gingerbread men and women with the icing

- 2 Tbsp. Heavy whipping cream
- ½ tsp. Vanilla extract
Instructions
