How To Make Bath Bombs
Add dry ingredients to a large bowl.
Sift or whisk dry ingredients.
In a small microwave safe bowl, melt coconut oil in microwave for 25-30 seconds. Add neroli essential oil and rubbing alcohol to bowl. The neroli oil is great for relaxing and relieving stress.
Add glitter
Using your hands, work in glitter and break down as many clumps that may be remaining in your dry mixture.
Slowly add in the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients. Add about 1 tablespoon at a time, whisk together well and repeat until liquid mixture is incorporated into dry mixture.
You will know when the mixture is perfect when it feels like wet sand and you can press the mixture together in your hands and it stays together. **Please note** You may need to use your spray bottle of rubbing alcohol to spritz your mixture if it gets too dry as you are adding it to your mold. Give a few spritzes and mix together until it has that wet sand feel again.
Add cupcake liners to a muffin tin and take a scoop of the bath bomb mixture and add to muffin tin.
Press down gently. We used the bottom of a glass to pack it in.
Allow cupcake bath bomb to harden overnight before adding the soap frosting to the tops.
Directions For Soap Frosting Recipe:
Melt your soap base in microwave safe bowl in 30-minute intervals, stirring after each until melted. Add to mixing bowl.
Add whipped soap base to mixing bowl.
Whip mixture on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Add castile soap a little at a time, whipping for 30 seconds after each addition. This helps to avoid it foaming up.
Add vanilla scent to mixture.
Add coloring to mixture 1-2 drops at a time. Mix well and continue to add coloring by 1-2 drops until desired color is reached.
:Continue to whip on high, scraping the sides regularly, until the mixture is the consistency of frosting.
Pipe onto cupcake bath bombs and add a few decorations if desired.

- 1/2 cup SLSA (Sodium Laurel Sulfoacetate)

- 2-3 tablespoons castile soap
- 5 drops vanilla soap scent
- 2-3 drops food coloring
