DIY Candy Corn Soap – How To Make Melt & Pour Soap {Easy Recipe} Fall DIY Craft Project
You will need white melt and pour soap base – like this here
You will also need some containers (hand sanitizer ones work great) –
the one for source below they don’t make anymore π
You will also need soap color – find here
You will also need a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol
And a microwave safe container
Cut up some soap and place in microwave safe container
Microwave the soap for 30 seconds if not melted microwave on 10 second
increments into fully melted
You will need a container of cold water and your melted soap
Pour a little bit of the soap into the bottle and place in cold water
Once the first layer is firm (putting it in cold water speeds up the process)
then spray with rubbing alcohol (the alcohol prevents bubbles from
forming in the soap)
Melt some more soap and then add orange soap color and mix together
Pour the orange soap as your 2nd layer and place in cold water quickly
so the colors don’t run together and spray with alcohol
Melt more soap for your 3rd layer
Add yellow soap color and mix together
Pour the yellow soap on top of the orange (make sure the orange layer is
firm before pouring next layer)place in cold water and spray with alcohol
Once the soap is firm you can carefully cut the container and remove the soap
