Start with baking soda
Add 1/4 Cup to a bowl
Next you will need epsom salt
Add 2 TBSPย epsom salt to baking soda
Next add 2 TBSP cornstarch to dry ingredients
Add 2 TBSP citric acid to the bowl (here is the citric acid I used)
Stir all dry ingredients well
Take part of dry mixture and put in another cup or bowl (this will be for the cookies)
In a seperate bowl add 1 tsp of water
1 tsp of coconut oil
Add essential oil (if you would like)
Mix together
Slowly add water ingredients to dry mixture (stir quick)…..
You only need enough liquid added to the dry ingredients to make it slightly
wet but not to dry! Don’t add all that is in the bowl – you may not have to
use all of what is in the bowl ๐
It should not be too wet or too dry
Grab a small paper cup
Pack the mixture into the cup pushing it down
It should look like this
After the mixture was tightly packed into the cup make a cut in top for
cookie then I put it in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes
Once I took it out of the refrigerator I removed if from the paper cup
Here it is –ย Set that aside and now to make the cookie
Use a real mini chocolate chip cookie
Place on a piece of parchment paper
Cover the entire cookie with clear nail polish and let dry
Once nail polish is dry cover the cookie with hot glue
When fully covered place in refrigerator for about 10 minutes
When out of the refrigerator remove the cookie from the mold and
throw the cut out DO NOT eat
Take the dry mixture you set aside from above
Mix in a bit of cacao powder (just enough to get the color of a cookie)
In a seperate bowl add 1 tsp of water
1 tsp of coconut oil
Add vanilla extract
Mix together
Slowly add water ingredients to dry mixture (stir quick) follow same as
above to get right consistency
Chop up some chocolate chips in small pieces
Add the chocolate pieces to the bottom of mold
Now pack the bath bomb mixture into the mold
Place in refrigerator for about 10 minutes
Once out of refrigerator pop it out of mold
And there is the DIY cookie bath bomb
Place the cookie in the cup of milk bath bomb
Set it aside for about 24 hours to fully dry and the cookie will stick in the milk
Enjoy your DIY bath bombs
