Start by adding the heavy whipping cream to a large bowl. Mix using an electric mixer or stand mixer for several minutes or until there are stiff peaks.
Pour in the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and mix for 3 more minutes or until well combined.
Divide the ice cream mixture into 4 separate bowls. Add pink strawberry frosting to one of the bowls along with food coloring.ย
Divide the remaining frosting among the other 3 bowls Add the other food coloring to each of the additional bowls. Mix with a wooden skewer, spoon, or spatula until mixed well.
Add spoonfuls of ice cream mixture to a bread pan or casserole dish. Take a knife or wooden skewer and make swirls. Try not to mix it too much because the colors blend together a lot after itโs frozen.
Add sprinkles if desired and freeze for minimum 6 hours
Notes
*Nutrition information is for whole recipe. This ice cream is softer because of adding the frosting. You can omit the frosting if you want. We like it because it adds strawberries and cream flavor that we love. The black ice cream sort of gets lost a little due to the other bright colors. You could make more black than other colors if you want the black to stand out a little bit more. You could omit the black ice cream completely and you will have mermaid or unicorn ice cream instead. Just add different sprinkles and it will turn out great. Add in fruit, nuts, or even chocolate chips to add even more flavor and style.
