How To Make Keto Chaffle Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese
Preheat your mini waffle maker.
Place the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl, and heat at 30 second intervals until well combined.
Add the almond flour
baking powder
garlic powder and salt to the cheese mixture, and knead until well combined.
Put the dough mixture into a mixing bowl, and add the egg
and heavy whipping cream. Beat until well combined into a thick batter.
Place half of the batter into the mini waffle maker, and cook for 3-5 minutes until done to your liking.
While the chaffle is cooking, add the ingredients for the filling to a bowl, and stir to combine well.
Place the second half of the batter onto the mini waffle maker, and cook for 3-5 minutes until done.
Spread the filling onto one chaffle.
Place the chaffle with the filling on it into the oven under a broiler for a few minutes until it starts to melt.
Put the other chaffle on top of the other with the filling, and serve with freshly chopped green onions if desired.
