Don’t throw away those nail polish bottles – recycle them into unique homemade school supplies. Follow these easy and simple step by step instructions and / or video tutorial to make these DIY nail polish bottle erasers. No need for an eraser kit or eraser clay for this easy DIY back to school craft idea. This would be a DIY school supply idea for middle school, high school and even elementary school….and hey it would even be fun for the office. Recycle a nail polish bottle
To clean out nail polish bottle – empty out any polish left in bottle
Pour some nail polish remover and shake the bottle
Empty in a cup (you may need to do this process a couple times)
after clean with hot soapy water
Take the cap
And remove the brush
Grab paint color of your choice
Pour some paint into nail polish bottle
Swirl around the nail polish bottle until fully coated (once coated set
aside and let dry
Here is mine once it was dry
Grab a Clic Eraser (you can find them here)
You can also use the refills (find here)
Place eraser in nail polish bottle make off where to cut
Then cut down to size
Place eraser back in nail polish bottle and hot glue along top
Place lid on nail polish bottle
