You can make a regular size or a miniature highlighter. I am always looking for cool things to do with highlighters so I came up with this idea that incorporates a beauty / makeup product with a school supply product. I really love how it turned out and I always fool people when I pull it out and use it. So if you are ready – I will show you how to make your own homemade nail file highlighter marker now!
To get started you will need a nail file / nail buffer
You can use full size highlighter & full size nail file / nail buffer
Or you mini highlighter (get here) – I will show you the miniature version
Place the miniature highlighter on nail file
Mark off when the marker ends
Cut on that line
Place the highlighter on piece that was just cut and mark off at cap
Now cut that out
Take a screwdriver and make hole in middle – make it big enough to get
highlighter in
Now work the highlighter in the hole that was just made (with cap sticking out)
Take the other end and make another hole with screwdriver
Place the cap end of the highlighter in the new hole created
