How to Make DIY Dollar Tree Farmhouse Cricut Mini Book Stack
Start by painting all of the mini books with the white chalk paint,
I did 3 coats to make sure that it was fully covered
While that is drying, get to work on your cricut.
In design space, open up a new design, click on the Text tool.
I selected the font Arial as I liked how the look was clean and there was enough space between the letters.
To unlock the size, click on the lock in the middle and change the Width to 1.75 and the Height to 2.25.
This fit on my books perfectly but double check your books as the sizing might differ.
To make sure that the words fit well, I typed them not in a straight line but on top of each other.
Once completed, you are ready to cut, I placed the piece of vinyl onto the cricut mat, (make sure not to use a brand new mat, as the green mats are very sticky it will be hard to get the vinyl off later, you could also use a light blue mat which is less sticky)
Turn on your cricut, turn on the vinyl setting, I like to use the middle one, load your mat and have it cut.
Next weed the extra vinyl off, cut the words out and use the shelf liner as transfer tape.
Place onto the books that are now completely dry and use the scraper tool to burnish the letters on.
Place the books on top of each other and use some ribbon or twine to secure together!

- Black vinyl
- Scissors
- Weeding tool/ scraper tool this helps to burnish the vinyl onto the books
- White Chalk Paint/ Paintbrush
- 3 Dollar Tree mini books
- Twine or ribbon for final touch
- To transfer the vinyl onto the books I used a small piece of dollar tree shelf liner the clear one works great as transfer tape
