You can’t go wrong with this cheap, inexpensive and budget friendly Dollar Store
DIY craft project. Make your wall look like Martha Stewart decorated with this
fun and adorable craft project.

Personalize this sign with any saying you would like. Create a picket fence look
with lavender or choose any other kind of flowers or change them out for each season
(Fall, Spring, Summer & Winter). Dollar Tree DIY home decor is as simple as 1 -2 – 3
with this tutorial.

Learn how to make DIY Dollar Store decor sign with this easy craft project!

You will need a sign from the Dollar Store (every Holiday season they
have these signs)

Start by taking the twine hanger off of the sign and save for later

Paint the back of the sign – I used chalk paint in color elephant

I used 2 coats of paint

Set aside and let dry

Next you will need Popsicle craft sticks ( you can find at Dollar Store) but
I got the jumbo craft sticks from Walmart for under $3

I painted the craft sticks in chalk paint color mineral (find here). Set aside
and let dry

Next I used this wall word art from Dollar Tree

I painted it with white chalk paint

I just gave it a quick brush to give it that white wash look. I used one of
these brushes (here) – set aside and let dry

Line Popsicle sticks across board and hot glue in place

Now you will need one of these organizer baskets also from Dollar Tree

Place in center and hot glue in place

Hot glue word art to sign

Pick up some Spanish moss in the floral section of the Dollar Tree

Place some moss in the basket

Now you will some fake lavender (either find at Dollar Tree or Walmart)

Cut piece of lavender and place in moss

Place the twine back in the sign and that’s how easy this DIY Dollar Store
decor craft project is to make!
