Looking for an easy, yummy and delicious treat for Valentine’s Day? Or maybe
a fun and tasty gift to give for Valentine’s Day? Learn how to make these super
fun and easy DIY homemade heart brownies! Make them for your Valentine,
your friends, your family, or even for yourself! These are also great for kids
Valentines classroom parties or school parties. You could even make these and
package for a cute Valentines for kids, teens, tweens, neighbors or coworkers.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Candy Melts
- White Chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In large mixing bowl add 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
- Then add 1 cup sugar
- Next add 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Mix together until light and fluffy
- Add 3 eggs to mixture
- Beat until well combined
- Add 1/2 cup flour
- Add 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- Add 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Add 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Mix all ingredients together
- Grease baking pan
- Pour mixture into baking pan
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean
- Once baked a cooled a bit run spatula or knife around edges
- Flip baking pan over to release brownies
- Use a heart cookie cutter to cut out brownies
- To Decorate the brownies you will need candy melts and white chocolate
- Melt candy melts and white chocolate
- Dip brownies in white chocolate and or candy melts
- Use a fork to drizzle chocolate over the top
