I used this as a gift for a girls 16th birthday so I used drive thru food restaurant gift cards and filled with money for gas but this gift can be used for any age from teens to adults.

A toy car is a fun way to display gift cards of any kind.

 

 

This gift card bouquet ideas can be used for: Christmas, birthday, Date Night, Graduation & more. Great for men and for women.

This could also me a great teacher or co worker gift too – they will be talking for days about this great DIY gift card idea.

Here are the supplies you will need for this project:

A toy car – here is the car I used here you could also use this car 2 good options for cars 🙂

 

 

Next you will need to go online and print out and cut out some signs

 

 

Then you will need bamboo skewers 

 

 

You will need to gather the gift cards you would like to use. Since this was a gift for a 16th birthday – I choose drive thru restaurants.

Mine were Panera bread, In and Out Burger, Starbucks, Taco Bell & Chick-fil-A. 

Some other gift card ideas: Amazon gift cards, Visa gift card and / or food gift cards

 

 

Next you will need floral foam – I got mine at the Dollar Tree

 

 

Cut a small piece to fit inside the car

 

 

Place the cut floral foam inside the car

 

 

Glue or tape your cut out signs to the bamboo skewers 

 

 

Now you can leave the bamboo skewers as they are or you can cover with paper straws.

If you use the straws to cover place a small amount of hot glue to secure in place. 

Here are the straws I used

 

 

Next tape the gift cards to the paper straws or bamboo skewers and place the pointed end of the bamboo skewers into the floral foam

 

 

Fill the car with crinkle cut shredded paper 

 

 

I then placed rolled up money on top of the crinkle cut shredded paper 

 

 

And that is all there is to this easy DIY gift card gift.
