Can you use an air fryer to make these keto french fries?
Yes, I make these both ways in the oven and an air fryer. If you want to make them in an air fryer I put my air fryer on 400 degrees and for about 25 to 30 min shaking the basket half way through the cooking time. Which method do I like better? I actually like them both ways.
Are fries allowed on keto?
Typical potato french fries are not allowed on keto but these jicama fries are. Jicama is lower in carbs and good alternative for ketogenic diet.
How do you cut jicama for fries?
Lots of people like to use a potato peeler. I just use a sharp knife and cut the skin off then I take a start cutting into sticks. You don’t want your sticks to be more than 1/2 thinkness.
