Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper
Using a standing mixer, cream together the butter and brown sugar until combined and smooth
Beat in the eggs, vanilla and almond extract until combined
Mix in the pink gel food coloring
In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined
Gently fold in the cherries and the chocolate chips
Use an ice cream scoop and scoop batter onto the cookie sheet
Bake in the oven for 14-16 minutes or until lightly golden brown

Cherry Garcia Cookies
Ingredients
- ½ C unsalted butter. Softened
- ¾ C light brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp pure almond extract
- 2 drops of pink gel food
- 1 ½ C flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- ¾ C chopped maraschino cherries, drained and dried
- ¾ C semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
