Gather all supplies. Measure 14 jumbo wooden craft sticks in half and mark with a pencil. Cut the craft sticks in half with a pair of scissors. These jumbo craft sticks are 6” long, so you will end up with 28 halves that are 3” long.
Dry fit 14 of the half craft sticks around the flat wreath form in a starburst style pattern with the flat end in the center. Dry fitting first will allow you to space everything evenly. Then attach the craft sticks with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Dry fit the other 14 half craft sticks on the wreath form in a second layer, positioning them in between the craft sticks on the first layer. Attach the second layer of craft sticks with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Mix dark brown acrylic craft paint with some water on a paper plate. Roughly and quickly paint the Craft Stick Wreath with the watered-down paint mixture, making sure to get into all the nooks and crannies. This will give the unfinished wooden craft sticks a stained effect without having to use messy stain.
You can either leave the wreath dark brown or wipe off some of the excess paint with a wet paper towel or baby wipe before it dries completely. Acrylic craft paint in your favorite color would also be pretty.
Remove the heads and leaves from a bunch of silk flowers. Attach the flowers and leaves to the bottom right-hand section of the wreath with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Tie a bow with ribbon, trim the ends with scissors, and then glue to the top center of the completed Craft Stick Wreath.
