This White Christmas Margarita is the ultimate festive cocktail that combines the classic margarita with holiday flavors! Made with tequila, almond milk, coconut cream, and fresh lime, this creamy white cocktail is rimmed with crushed peppermints and garnished with bright red cranberries for the perfect Christmas presentation.
What makes this margarita so special is its beautiful snowy white appearance and the unexpected combination of tropical coconut cream with traditional holiday elements like peppermint and cranberries. The almond milk gives it a luxurious, creamy texture while keeping it lighter than heavy cream-based cocktails. It’s absolutely perfect for holiday parties, Christmas Eve celebrations, or any time you want to add some festive flair to your cocktail hour!
How To Make White Christmas Margarita
Step 1. I start by preparing the glass, which is honestly one of my favorite parts! I dip the rim of my cocktail glass first in melted white chocolate, then roll it in crushed peppermints. The chocolate acts as the perfect ‘glue’ to hold those festive peppermint pieces. Once rimmed, I pop the glass in the refrigerator for 5 minutes to let that rim set perfectly.

Step 2. While my glass is chilling, I get to work on the margarita base. In a tall mixing glass, I combine the almond milk, tequila, cream of coconut, fresh lime juice, and agave. I whisk everything together until it’s completely smooth and creamy. The key here is really whisking well – you want that coconut cream fully incorporated for the silkiest texture.

Step 3. Now comes the fun assembly part! I remove my beautifully rimmed glass from the fridge and fill it about halfway with ice. Here’s my pro tip: I layer in fresh cranberries and mint leaves as I add the ice, making sure some cranberries are tucked beneath the ice layers. If you don’t do this, they’ll all just float to the top – and while that’s pretty, the layered effect is much more stunning!

Step 4. For the final touch, I pour my creamy margarita mixture over the ice, filling the glass about ¾ of the way up. Then I top it off with a splash of club soda for a little effervescence. I finish with a final garnish of fresh cranberries, mint leaves, and a sprinkle of crushed peppermints. The result is absolutely magical – like Christmas in a glass!
