How to Make DIY Dollar Tree Farmhouse Bunny Basket
Start by adding a line of glue to the bottom of the basket and press the jute nautical rope on top.
Repeat this process all the way around the basket until you have reached the end.
Once at the end add the next jute rope until that entire rope is adhered to the basket.
Next repeat the same process with the nautical rope until you have completely covered the basket.
(once you reach the top, using the cotton rope cover the top wire with the nautical rope.
With the remaining cotton nautical rope, measure out about a 3 inch section, add a line of glue to the side of the rope and press the rope onto itself.
Repeat this 1 time around the beginning section.
So when you are looking at the rope (it should look like an ear) and there will be 4 pieces that are glued together.
Trim at the end.
Repeat this for the second ear.
Once completed, cut the large popsicle stick in half
and add hot glue to one end and press the rope ear on firmly.
Repeat with the other ear.
Add a good amount of glue to the bottom section of each popsicle stick and press firmly to the inside of the basket.
I added some burlap fabric to the inside of the basket with some hot glue but you could use any fabric you have on hand to line the inside of the basket
