How To Make Keto Cream Cheese Danish
Place the ingredients for the pastry into a mixing bowl, and beat on high until a well incorporated dough has formed.
Put the dough into the freezer to chill for 30 minutes.
Remove the dough from the freezer, and preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Roll the dough into a ¼ inch thick layer between two pieces of parchment paper.
Cut the dough into 8 even square or rectangular shapes using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
Fold the edges of each square or rectangle in to form a danish shape, and leave an empty space in the center of each danish to be filled.
Add the ingredients for the filling to a mixing bowl, and blend until smooth and creamy.
Fill the center of each danish with a dollop of the cream cheese mixture,
and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool before serving.

- 1 tsp. Xanthan gum
- 1 tsp. Baking powder
- 1 Egg
- 2 tsp. Apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Heavy whipping cream
- 3 Tbsp. Swerve confectioners sugar substitute

- 5 oz. Cream cheese softened
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
- ½ tsp. Almond extract
- 1 Egg yolk
- ¼ C. Swerve confectioners sugar substitute
