Place the nuts and honey in a saucepan over medium heat, and cook until the mixture has thickened, and the nuts are coated well. Remove from the heat and spread the mixture in a single layer on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Place the ingredients for the sauce into a saucepan over medium high heat, and simmer until thickened. Remove and set aside.
Heat a layer of oil in the bottom of a large skillet over medium high heat.
In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, sparkling water, eggs, garlic powder and salt to taste. Whisk to combine.
Mix the shrimp into the batter.
Fry the shrimp evenly on both sides in the heated oil, and place on a paper towel lined plate to drain.
Toss the shrimp in the sauce and sprinkle with the candied nuts before serving.
