My absolute favorite was salted caramel chocolate chip cookies.
So I knew I had to find a way to make these cookies keto friendly and this low carb recipe for born.

Can you eat cookies on keto diet?
Sure you can as long as you use keto friendly ingredients. Make sure you are using a keto sweetener and either almond flour or coconut flour. Those are my 2 favorite flours to bake with on a ketogenic diet.
Can you have dark chocolate chips on keto?
Yes, as long as you are choosing when that is sugar free. My favorite chocolate chips to use are Lily’s brand – which you can find here. They are sugar free and taste amazing in cookies, muffins or just to grab a few for a quick treat.
Which flour is low carb?
The main flours I like to bake with are almond flour and coconut flour. You can also use pecan flour, psyllium husk, ground flax seed or sunflower seed flour to name a few. In this recipe I used almond flour and love how these cookies turned out.
How to make keto friendly chocolate chip cookies?
Follow the step by step instructions to make the best keto chocolate chip cookies!
Preheat oven to 325F.
Cream butter and erythritol in a bowl.
Stir in all remaining ingredients except chocolate chips
Fold in chocolate chips
Form dough into balls and set on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
Slightly flatten each ball then top with more chocolate chips and salt flakes.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Take out of the oven and leave to cool on the pan for 10-15 minutes.

- ¼ cup Brown Sugar Swerve
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ cup Lilys Chocolate Chips
- 10-15 drops Caramel Flavoring
- 1 tsp Salt Flakes
