How To Make Keto Stuffed Peppers
Slice each of the large sweet peppers in half lengthwise, and scoop out all of the seeds and the stem from the inside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground sausage until it is cooked through.
In the last 30 seconds of cook time for the sausage, add in the garlic powder
chopped green onion
and minced garlic, as well as salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine well.
Mix in the cream cheese, and stir until completely melted.
Stuff each of the pepper halves with the meat mixture.
Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the peppers.
Bake the peppers for 15-20 minutes in 350 degree oven until they begin to soften, and the cheese is browned on top.
Serve with more freshly chopped green onions as garnish if desired.

- 1 lb Jimmy Dean original ground sausage
- 4 oz. Cream cheese
- Β½ c Chopped green onion
- Β½ tsp Garlic powder
- 2 tsp Minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c Shredded mozzarella cheese
