Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Unroll pie crust and use the heart cookie cutter to cut out eight heart shapes into the pie crusts.
Place four of the pie crusts on an ungreased baking sheet
and place a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center of each heart.
Top each pie crust with another heart. Use a fork to seal the edges together.
Cut slits in the top of each crust.
Use a pastry brush to brush egg on top of each pie, then sprinkle with sugar.
Bake pies in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until pie crusts are golden brown.
Allow to cool completely before serving.

- 1 21-ounce can cherry pie filling
- 1 egg, whisked
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Supplies:
- 1 5-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter
