Ingredients for pie cheese crackers: triangle crackers, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, pretzel sticks
Everything you need for this adorable appetizer – simple pantry staples!

Instructions

Step 1. I love starting with this simple step – using your triangle crackers as stencils to cut the cheddar cheese into perfect pie-shaped wedges. This little trick ensures each cheese piece fits perfectly on its cracker base. Just place the cracker on top of a cheese slice and carefully cut around the edges with a sharp knife.

Step 2. Here’s where the magic happens! I use cream cheese as my ‘edible glue’ to attach each cheddar triangle to its cracker. The cream cheese not only holds everything together beautifully, but it also adds a delicious creamy flavor that complements the sharp cheddar perfectly.

Step 3. Now for my favorite part – adding the pretzel stick ‘crust’! I break the pretzel sticks into small pieces and use a dab of cream cheese to attach them along the edge of each triangle. This creates the most adorable pie crust effect that really makes these look like tiny pies.

Step 4. The finishing touch is what makes these truly special! I put cream cheese in a small zip-top bag, snip off a corner, and pipe a little dot of ‘whipped cream’ on top of each pie. It’s such a simple detail, but it really brings the whole pie illusion together and makes everyone smile when they see them.
