For the donuts:

  • 1 ½ C. Almond flour
  • 2 tsp. Baking powder
  • ¼ C. Cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 3 Eggs
  • 6 Tbsp. Unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp. Unsweetened almond milk

For the Cream Filling on top of donuts:

  • 6 oz. Cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. Swerve confectioners sugar substitute
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • ¼ C. Almond flour

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ingredients for the donuts, and beat until well combined.
  • Fill the sections of a well greased donut pan about ¾ of the way full with the batter, and bake for 10-12 minutes until completely cooked through.
  • Let the donuts cool completely.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend all of the ingredients for the cream topping until smooth.
  • Add frosting ingredients to piping bag and frost donuts
  • then break up half of donuts and sprinkle on top (optional)
